SCF Call/Search Team

SCF members volunteered to serve on the SCF Call/Search Team, as we start down the adventure of seeking a new Pastor.
The current members are Jenny Long – Chairperson, Randy Heise, Sharon Krueger, Cindy McConnell, John Salzer, and Barbie Sessler. They represent both the Episcopal and Lutheran congregations as well as the General members.

The process is expected to take a year, or perhaps longer. Initially, the group will work to create a Ministry Site Profile (MSP), which includes both factual data about the church and congregation as well as a vision for the future of the church. This document will be used to help match us with potential candidates. The hope is that the congregation, through small group meetings and conversations, will guide in creating the vision piece of the MSP. As this group gets organized and has met a few times, please look forward to hearing about opportunities to share your thoughts. The goal is to try and get input from each member.

Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings unless and until a confidential conversation takes place.

Please feel free to contact any of the team members with comments or questions. We look forward to this important task and pray for a smooth selection and transition. The congregation will be kept up to date through a monthly Mission Moment on the first Sunday of every month and newsletter articles.
