Dedication of the Nancy McGrath Green Gallery at Sunriver Christian Fellowship

Community members gathered Friday, Feb. 10 to celebrate the grand opening and the dedication of the Nancy McGrath Green Gallery at Sunriver Christian Fellowship. Nancy McGrath Green is the senior pastor, who is retiring after 32 years of service. Liz Haberman, Christine Hamilton and Linda Porter worked to create the art gallery at their newly renovated church.
“This gallery is our attempt to bring not only the beauty of the artwork into our spiritual space, but the community as well,” Haberman said.
The gallery is open 2 to 4 pm Monday through Friday – except Thursdays, and noon to 1:30 pm on Sundays. The High Desert Art League was selected to be the first of many invited artists to display their work. The show is called “Reawakening” to acknowledge the 32-year-old multi-denominational congregation’s new sanctuary. The show will be up until the end of March.
